Map of the Central Asia area. We visited Turkmenistan (green) and Uzbekistan (light blue). On our bus ride from Ashgabat to Mary - both are in Turkmenistan - we passed within three miles of the Iranian border.

  • Day 14 - Samarkand to Tashkent
